Chapter 6
Author’s POV
“The Wolf Titans were known in history to be superior over any type and rank of werewolf in the wolf community or chain. They were on top of the chain. They were the superior and always the predator……
“What the fuck is she even teaching us? This is human history class not some fictional animal history class. Mary’s voice sounded gently at the back of the wide classroom as she whispered to her seat mate, Odeth, her voice over casting Mrs Johanne’s as she spoke from the podium.
Mrs Johanne, the fifty four year old English teacher seemed to be the only one interested about the history of the peculiar set of werewolf clan in history. Even when everything she has studied in the past were ruled as mere fiction or history, she had many reasons to believe that most of it were true. And so did Odeth
Mrs Johanne is a slim woman with an Irish look, her greying hair made into a smooth straight bob with curving edges. She has a small glass seated on top of her long pointed nose, the sides of her eyes wrinkled as well as her bright red lips and fingers.
For a woman her age, she seemed to be very much interested in high fashion.
Odeth thought about what her friend said for a second. Mary was never a believer of anything and Odeh had a feeling it had something to do with her trust issues. Odeth was probably amongst the one percent of the pupils in Mrs Johanne’s class who believed everything she was teaching.
And even history has it that the only Titan wolves ever known were from a very noble royal family, and of a clan, known as the Copperas,” Mrs Johanne continues and Odeth struggled to focus and ignore Mary who was suddenly munching on some kind of snark.
“As you all may know, copperas is the name of an iron, or rather, the sulphate of an iron. Iron two sulphate. The reason behind this name was because the Titan wolves mostly lived around and underneath volcanoes and because of this also, they were or are…the only kinds of wolves who cannot be killed by silver.”
The class is silent except for the sounds of Mrs Johanne’s heels as she strolled back to the board where she picked up chalk and started to draw something on the board.
Everybody watched as her strokes soon developed into a gigantic wolf that stood on twos, instead of all four. The wolf looked fierce and extremely huge. Mrs Johanne went ahead to make further emphasis on its eyes as she made a glowing color there with a yellow chalk. She really put her life into this, Odeth thought. Just like she did.
The diagram on the board looked nothing like a lycan woll, but there was something about it that made you know it had something to do with a wolf.
“Now this is called a Titan wolf,” Mrs Johanne said as she stepped away from the board “also known as the white wolves of the mountains. These wolves has the ability to transform into what is known as a titan, ten times the height of a normal- human being.
From the corner of her eyes, Odeth notices Mary’s attention now on Mrs Johanne as she listened.
“…..and it is believed that there is only one last clan left of this great… gift, ability or whatever you might call it, and they not only posses these extra ordinary powers but also royalty.”
The abrupe–ringing of the bell causes Odeth to flinch on her seat.
“Piff” Mary blurts out as she chewed “this woman needs a time off her work, seriously. She’s teaching us garbage. Royalty? I mean, seriously,”
Mary swirls around on her seat to face Odeth who merely smiled, just in time for her phone to ding.

“Alright class! Make sure you send your assignments to my mailbox before the end of tomorrow!” Mrs Johanne screamed as the class started to dismiss
now.
Odeth flips her phone’s screen over to see that she got a message from Genevieve.
Quickly clicking it open, she’s met with a very brief message that read: I’m in front of your school. I need to see you
Quite a perfect timing, she thought.
“What? Are you gonna tell me who’s been hitting you up lately?” Marv pressed, her arms spread out dramatically.
“Nobody’s been hitting me up, Marv. Stop saying it like that. I replied defensively.
“I have caught you countless times this week secretly texting somebody on your phone!” Mary paused to take a long gasp, as if she’d just realized something interesting, then added for sexting? Have you been sexting?”
life”
Odeth rolls her eyes disgustedly as she thought of ways to bail her. “I don’t care about all that, Mary. You need to get a
“Hal” Mary gasped, feigning hurt “I do have a life, Odeth! And part of it is actually caring about my celibate roommate even though she doesn’t appreciate me enough! And let me tell you…..
“It’s Miss Genevieve! Odeth cuts her off as she waved her phone screen on her face. “She just texted me. She wants to see me and apparently she’s already here at the school and now I really have to go.”
Odeth quickly picks her bag on that cue and dragged herself through the closed up chairs.
“Hey that doesn’t answer who has been hitting you up all weekend!” Mary calls after her determinedly.
Odeth stops just before she walks out of the door and looked back at Mary’s face. Odeth actually thought she was cute ar that quick moment. Marvey Kendrick, the bane of her existence. The beautiful, tall blond girl who should be hanging out with girls cooler than her.
“It’s the new job I told you I’m trying out,” I told her “they keep hitting me up. Told them I’m not interested anymore but they just won’t stop. Talk for another time. Got to run. Byel
“Wait, are you coming to Jayden’s party?!” Mary calls after her.
“I’ll meet you there!” Odeth replied as she hurried down the hallway.
“Love you!” Mary calls after her, even though she knew she was already out of ear shot.
As Odeth descended the long steps of the University’s class hall, she scanned the area for Effie’s car.
“Looking for someone?” A voice she didn’t recognized spoke from behind the fountain.
Cain stepped out from behind the fountain, his hands deep in his pants pockets and a mischievous smile on his thin lips
Odeth knew she had never seen this man before but there was something so foreboding about him, like she was supposed to recognize him, supposed to know him even.
“I see you humans learn about us in this human school. Can said as he beckoned his face towards the building where Odeth just walked out from,
Realization hit Odeth and she knew.immediately what she had been missing.
He was one of the supernaturals. He was a lycar

“My name is
