Chapter 65
“I !! I have so many questions, but I have a feeling that me asking, will make me want to puke my guts out, so I’ll save myself the health hazard this afternoon,” Kara said as she looked at the couple that were standing close to the remains of what had once been the royal bed. The stench of their mixed scents and the stench of their releases filled the air. It was so potent almost horrifying to even think of. However, Kara figured that maybe if she didn’t talk about it, she wouldn’t have to deal with the madness that had taken place here. Perhaps the world was a better place without them knowing shit.
W.H
“We can.” King Miroslav began and Kara watched as if she was waiting for an explanation that even she knew wasn’t going to be coming anytime soon. And as if to prove Kara’s point, Ralph spoke on their behalf, leaving the warrior wondering if this was what she had signed up for when she heard of the pride of the high guards. Right now, she seemed to be interacting with two kids who were caught with their hands in the cookie jar and didn’t know how else to deal with the aftermath of their mess. There had to be an easier way to deal with this. Hopefully.
“Explain..” the Lycan queen added, and Kara facepalmed.
“Yeah. What she said. We can explain this,” the Lycan King said and it took every ounce of willpower in Kara not to glare at them even though she stood a risk of being banished by the both of them.
She couldn’t believe this had happened though. On one hand, she was glad that the King and queen had finally completed the mating bond while on the other she couldn’t deny how disgusting this room smelled. It was almost like they were in some apocalyptic session and they had the unfortunate pleasure of interacting with their royals. All of this was insane and there was no denying it. Perhaps there was a better way out of this, right?
“Don’t bother, alright? Don’t even think of explaining anything. Now will you both step out because some of us have to make sure you two have a place to lay your heads when nightfall comes alright?” Kara said and the king and his queen just nodded sheepishly as they made their way out of the room, fumbling at the door, before they broke out into giggles when they reached the hallways. They were happy, that much was obvious
The Lycan kingdom had felt it all. They had felt the change in the atmosphere, they had felt it when their leaders finally sealed the bond and they had felt it when they were all linked to Ralph in the same mind link as their King. It was something they took so much pride in and knowing that their King was so sure about the queen that he completed the mating with her, was something they all needed to celebrate. So, when the royals stepped out of the palace and were met with celebrating Lycans, they knew there was no point in hiding anymore. After all, wasn’t this what the entire realm had been hoping for?
The mating meant that the kingdom was officially one. It also meant that only the goddess could have mercy on the souls that would dare to cause chaos between the two mug heads who were running Asmoria kingdom. Mercy would never be an option, and Asmoria was finally back to where it belonged – high up on the list of the most dangerous places to visit and more than anything, the craziest place to be in. It was interesting though, how everyone was happy that this was happening when there was a chance they were going into an unknown future. Well, whatever it was, at least they weren’t going to be at it alone anyway.
“Do you think they know what we did?” Ralph asked even though she could hear everything and feel the new bonds that had formed. It was exciting that all these people had been in one huge community, and even more that she was a part of them. However, it was scary that she had officially managed to be the queen of this very lot. The Lycans were crazy and on every scale, they were way beyond what humanity considered crazy. And yet here with their King and queen staring at them with proud shy eyes, they were excited about it all.
“It’s a good thing we took a shower. Otherwise, it would have been really awkward having to come out here looking like shit. I guess we have to be ready for that this time, yeah?” Ralph said and the King just chuckled. King Miroslav was high above the moon at the moment. He felt like the world was his to conquer and he felt like he could do whatever he set his mind outo. Of course, that was something he did on a daily basis. But today he was aggressively motivated to get on the werewolf Alpha in their Kingdom’s nerves. So, while Ralph watched the kids excitedly, the King sneaked out and went to the guest houses where his queen had sent the man who was a threat to the stability of their relationship.
Walking to those guestrooms, the Lycan King was taking note of the state of the kingdom. He knew Asmoria inside and out and he knew what happened, where, and when. Every layout was known to him and he never failed to catch a glimpse of even the tiniest bits of details. And maybe that was also why he was quick to ditch the excited mate demeanor and pour on his usual demeanor and invisible shields. Something was going on and he needed to know what it was, Alarmed, he masked

his scent, just in case there was something going on that he needed to know of.
出
The Lycan King was about to knock on the door of the guesthouse when he heard voices in the room. He was certain he only ever had one visitor, so the extra voices in there just didn’t make any sense. So, the King glamorized himself and walked into the guesthouse, making sure to not hit anything. He was a powerful Lycan and his magic was more potent than even that of the warlocks. Well, that was expected given he was too many what the warlocks called the goddess’s punishment to the warlocks. Miroslav had a lot of magic and couldn’t be put down by any amount of magic. Even at his weakest points, he was still as powerful as always,
“Did you know they completed the mate bond?” a voice asked Alpha Bashir and he looked like he was scared out of his mind. It was almost like that was the last thing he had expected. Sure, he had been keeping the royals busy with the chaos he was causing but he never thought they would do it. Maybe there was a mistake somewhere. Maybe they had gotten it wrong, yeah?
“Impossible. They still had a fire to deal with. They still have to investigate it; Besides, the Belyaeva girl was the one who saw me yesterday and I doubt she shared that with her husband. If anything, they will be busy investigating the fire,” Alpha Bashir said almost like he was very sure of what he was talking about. For a moment there, Miroslav felt bad for him. The Alpha seemed to be trapped in some sort of shell and there was no way for him to get out of it. This wasn’t even encouraging to say the least.
Whatever was happening here, got the Lycan King invested. So, the Lycan King stepped ahead and got to look at the man who was talking to Alpha Bashir. At first, he was certain he was seeing ghosts because the man he was seeing was supposed to be dead. But when he looked at him carefully and even saw the strangulation marks that he had left on the man, the King knew that it was possible the bastard was alive. But what were the odds that they would be here like this? And why was there an uncanny similarity between him and alpha Bashir?
“You came here to make sure the Lycan King didn’t get strong. We didn’t need that dumb treaty, and yet here you are, eleven days later and you have nothing substantial. You are just as useless as your mother,” the man said and alpha Bashir stared at him with angry eyes. It was not easy being in the same kingdom with the woman he loved and having to pretend like he didn’t care about how it was affecting him. At some point in time, he would have to face his truth, no matter how unpleasant that was. But then, would he ever really get to do it when the world seemed to be crashing at him from all ends? With everything suffocating him, would he manage to get a hold of himself here?
**Easy for you to say. I am the Alpha. I don’t care what you say. You need to also be careful. The treaty may be an entry for
against me into Asmoria but I might actually consider working with the treaty. It doesn’t matter to me really. At the end of the day, this treaty will be proof that the Lycans have our back no matter what happens. Even the King knows that he can’t go the treaty just because of jealousy. I have had enough of your lectures. If you have nothing more to say to me, then leave,” Alpha Bashir said and the older man sighed angrily. It was almost like he hated that everything he had planned so far hadn’t come to fruition, but why would he think so?
Miroslav watched as the Alpha began throwing things in the guestroom. He knew the man was frustrated and as much as he wanted to fuck around with the guy, he had to pretend like he didn’t know shit about all of this. He didn’t care really about Bashir, and if he was being honest, the Lycan King didn’t give a shit about the damn treaty. All that he cared about was the fact that this damned alpha was never going to take his wife from him. After all, there was no one alive that could take out Miroslav unless his mate decided to use the mate bond against him, which was very unlikely, seeing as they had completed the mating.
“Bashiirr,” the Lycan King called out in a singsong voice. He was currently outside the Alpha’s guestroom, enjoying the fact that he was always going to be better than Bashir. It was a lame attempt but then Miro had all the time in the world to be a little childish, even just for today he would be the man who had won against a formidable foe. After today, he would be back to being the Lycan King his people knew and needed. He never left, but well things had been a little exciting in the kingdom.
On hearing the King’s voice, Bashir let out a defeated sigh. He was mad at everything and this wasn’t the best time for the king to come visiting. He knew this was some shit show because if the King needed him for official matters, he would have sent his servants. Whatever this was, it had to be personal. But then what else could get the King to come to his door like this? Wasn’t it too late in the evening for the King to be paying him a visit? Surely the man wasn’t here to break bread with him and make merry when their lives were getting fucked up by the second, right?
“Your Highness, Alpha Bashir greeted, only to be met with the Lycan King’s smirk.
Chapter 65
“We completed the mating, that’s what I came to tell you. Now I be on my way, the Lycan King said, making Bashir look at him like he was a few screws too loose in the head.
Was this the same Lycan King he had known? Was this the same man whose name alone sent shivers down the spines of many? Was this their new reality? Oh, but the Alpha was confusell, as to what he needed to say, so he forced himself to say the words he never thought he would ever tell the king, when it came to the Lycan queen. Or maybe it was because the alpha had more pressing issues than a Lycan King excited about the crown mark on his neck and the mixed scent he was sharing with his queen, right?
“Congratulations, Your Highness. Would you like to come in?” Alpha Bashir asked and Miro just walked away like he was done being the messenger, leaving an even more confused Bashir standing at the door. This was just getting worse. But what were the odds, yeah!
“Oh wait, I was forgetting… your stay at the guest house is over. lack up, you’ll be staying in the palace for the next two days, until we finalize the treaty. You will definitely love it there. Anyway, there will be warriors to help you out. See you at dinner, Bashir Shehzad,” the Lycan king said, making sure to pronounce the Shehzad‘ like he was telling the alpha that he knew
his relationship. what every word out there meant and he was done watching the alpha trying to fuck up
