Lambert paid close attention to his appearance when he was out. He was wearing a light blue suit, looking sharp and composed, oozing with an upscale aura.
As he looked at the scale of Easton’s company, he scoffed. Sure, Easton had some skills, but Lambert didn’t think much of him. His granddaughter deserved better.
When Lambert arrived at Easton’s office, Easton stood at the door to greet him. “Mr. Shawn,” he said respectfully, albeit quietly.
“Please, have a seat,” Xavier said, smiling.
After Lambert sat down, he handed Easton à document. “Easton, I’ll keep it short: this is the divorce agreement. I hope you can sign it.”

Easton frowned. Is the old–ayan here to force me into a divorce lie wondered.
He confidently took a seat across from Lambert. “Mr. Shawn, I don’t understand. Why do you want me to divorce Natalie?

With fierce determination, Lambert pulled out the divorce agreement and shoved it towards Easton. No one was going to
his granddaughter from being happy.
Easton sprang to his feet, almost in a panic. “Grandpa, I won’t divorce her.”
Lambert’s face turned red in frustration. “What’s the alternative My granddaughter nearly lost her life for you! What more do you want? Do you want her dead?”
Before Easton could respond, Lambert pressed on, “Let me tell you, even if you died, my Natalie wouldn’t! All these years, if she hadn’t been thinking about you, do you really think your company would be thriving like it is now?

Xavier was confused about what Lambert meant by “weak.” He didn’t really know if Easton was or wasn’t, but right now, the point was to find the guy who looked just like Easton
He cautiously replied, “Mr. Slawn, I think you might have pushed him a little too hard.”
Lambert was fuming. “This is ridiculous! He’s such a wimp. How can he be this soft? Natalie must be blind to like him. What’s the difference between him and a pile of garbage?
“Look at Maurice! He’s tall and has that perfect V–shape girls love, with a solid six–pack abs. He walks with confidence.
“Even if a rock fell from the sky, it wouldn’t knock him out. Thats the type Natalie likes! Didn’t you see the gossip from last night?”
Lambert glared at Xavier, who was still holding up Easton. Xavier shook his head, slightly confused.
Lambert’s frustration peaked. “What does your head shaking mean?”
“Mr. Shawn, I’m not really sure what gossip you’re talking about Xavier said, finding this old man strangely endearing. He might be older, but he was fit and lively, radiating warmth.
“Last night, Natalie and Maurice were all over the news! How could you miss that?” Lambert grinned. “They’re such a perfect match, right? My Natalie is gorgeous, and Maurice is so handsome.
