1 completed the discharge procedures.
The doctor gave me some instructions on what to watch for during my recovery.
List took me back to the apartment, his face still flushed the entire way.
When I mentioned wanting to change places, he immediately volunteered to pack my
things, keeping himself busy.
I called his name several times, but he didn’t hear. Finally, when he was about to fold my
intimate clothing, I couldn’t hold back anymore and grabbed his arm.
“You don’t need to pack that, Liam.”
I almost grit my teeth as I said it.
His expression froze for a moment, and before he could think, he blurted out:
“Well, it’s going to be me doing all the packing from now on, so just think of it as me getting
a head start.”
This time, I was the one who froze.
Countless thoughts ran through my mind a hundred times, but in the end, I let them go.
That day, we boarded the high–speed train back home.
My mom, who had received the news in advance, finished work early to pick us up.
When she heard we had confirmed our relationship, she wasn’t at all surprised, even a little bit delighted.
“You really waited long enough to see the full moon,” she said with a smile.
