Having grown up in the countryside with limited resources, sleeping on the floor wasn’t a big deal for Olivia.
The next morning, she was jolted awake by a knock on the door.
Rubbing her sleepy eyes, she sat up. On the bed, Alexander was still fast asleep.

“Livi, are you awake? Time for breakfast!” he called, his voice cheerful.
After a night together, their relationship must have progressed, right?
“I’m coming in,” Liam added, pulling out a key to unlock the door, eager to see if his and Vance’s plan had worked.
Olivia, who had been groggy moments earlier, instantly snapped awake at Liam’s words.
If he sees the state of the room, he’ll have a stroke on the spot!
In a flash, Olivia folded up the bedding from the floor and stuffed it into the wardrobe. Then, grabbing her glasses, she leapt onto the bed.
The commotion stirred Alexander awake. He opened his eyes, his furrowed brows betraying his irritation at being disturbed.
“What are you doing?” Alexander asked, watching Olivia suddenly appear on the bed.

But as she settled in, she realized something was off. She glanced at Alexander, whose expression was growing darker.

They’re way too neat.
It looks like they spent the whole night chatting under the blanket–absolutely nothing happened!

Without hesitation, Olivia reached out and grabbed Alexander’s collar.
“You-” Alexander began, but before he could finish, rip!
Olivia tugged hard, popping the buttons and exposing his well–toned chest.

The moment his shirt fell open, Olivia smirked in satisfaction. Before Alexander could explode, she buried her face in the pillow.

The next second, the door swung open.
Liam entered, and his gaze immediately landed on the scene: Alexander, disheveled and shirtless on the bed, while Olivia, with sleepy eyes, was sitting up beside him.

Had Alexander not just witnessed Olivia tearing open his shirt, he might’ve believed her innocent act.
Seeing the scene before him, Liam was elated.
“I came to wake you two up for breakfast,” he said warmly.

Alexander rubbed his aching temples and sat up, his torn shirt exposing his muscular chest.
Liam’s sharp eyes noticed the buttons scattered on the floor.
Well, well. Things got intense last night!
Deciding to give the “young couple” more time together, Liam reminded them to come down for breakfast and then left, closing the door behind him.
Outside, Vance watched Liam’s satisfied expression and whispered, “Grandpa, how did it go?”
Liam glanced at him, hands clasped behind his back, and strode downstairs with a spring in his step.
“Next year, I’ll have a great–grandchild to hold!”
Vance’s jaw dropped.

After Liam left, Alexander’s face remained dark.
Under his gaze, Olivia quickly jumped off the bed. Her earlier decisiveness in ripping his shir was replaced by a clear determination to stay as far away from him as possible.
By the floor–to–ceiling window, sunlight bathed Olivia, casting a soft glow around her figure,

But no one could understand why Olivia chose to hide such a gorgeous face behind those clunky glasses.
