However, even when the time came for him and Joycelyn to be released, not a single green spot showed up on the map.
“Huh? The staff can’t be that slow, why haven’t they placed the gold back?” Franklin muttered, clearly puzzled.
Joycelyn, who was beside Franklin, glanced at him, then turned to look at the caged–up Olivia.
All it took was one look, and the realization struck Joycelyn.
“I think you might want to forget about waiting any longer.” She said to Franklin.
“Why do you say that?” Franklin was still confused.
Joycelyn simply pointed at Olivia, and Franklin impatiently turned to look.
What came into his sight nearly made him collapse out of anger.
Locked up in the cage, Olivia was silently lining all of her 180 pieces of gold in neat rows on the ground. before her.
The gold gleamed brilliantly in the light.
Franklin was blinded by the dazzle from Olivia’s gold.
“Where… Where did you get all that gold from?” Franklin stared at Olivia, his eyes wide with disbelief.
Aren’t all those the gold the staff had taken from me?
How did it fall into Olivia’s hands?
“Guess.” Olivia simply replied.
Franklin was furious, his blood pressure was off the charts.
“All the best to you, I’m looking forward to seeing you win this.” Olivia looked at her gold on the ground, then looked at Franklin and clapped her hands at him tauntingly.
The anger had left Franklin completely speechless.
Can’t she just behave like a normal person?

There were only 800 pieces of gold, and Olivia had 180 in her possession.
Which meant that there were only 120 pieces left out in the wild!
How was it even possible for Franklin to win the game?

Olivia put on a comforting tone and said, “Oh, don’t get so worked up, I’ll be locked up for a good, long while. If I’m still ot out by the time this game ends, all of my gold won’t count. You still have a chance at winning.
Franklin suddenly felt his breathing relax!
I can do the same as Olivia did. I’ll trick her teammate Eugene to fall into the hands of the NPCs. With both of them captured, her gold count would be completely cleared.
I can also play the same trick on Shawn. This way, I can take the chance to collect all of the gold while they are all locked up!
And as for Olivia’s escape? That’s nothing to worry about.
Franklin had noticed that all of the NPCs remained outside Olivia’s cell after they had captured her.
It was clear enough that they planned to guard her cell as much as possible, in order to eliminate e chance of Eugene rescuing her.
Having either Shawn or Eugene captured would greatly increase his chances of winning.
After all, Olivia was in possession of all the gold that belonged to her team.

Even if Eugene was not captured, if Olivia was still in the cage by the time the game ended, all of the gold- in her possession would not count!
With that in mind, Franklin and Joycelyn immediately decided to hunt for Shawn and Eugene.
In the cell, Olivia leaned against the bars and watched the hyped–up Franklin, then let out a tiny sigh.
*Huh, all of that effort for nothing in the end, I wonder how that’s going to feel.”
Whitney, who was beside Olivia, overheard her muttering and said, “What are you saying, Olivia?”
“Oh, it’s nothing, just talking to myself.” Olivia replied.
Are your teammates planning to rescue you? There are too many guards over here, it’s probably, impossible even if they come for you, right?”
There were at least twenty men around their cell, the area around the cell was completely crowded.
Even a fly would not be able to make it past them, let alone a man!
