Just as they were about to sit down, Olivia pulled out a tablecloth and hung it on a wooden rack she had prepared earlier.
Shawn and Louis instinctively looked at it, only to be left speechless by what they saw, it was written with- Beef instant noodles, 1 gold bar, Canned luncheon meat. 1 gold bar, Insect repellent, 2 gold bars, Steam pot buffet, 5 gold bars, Bottled water…
Olivia gave them a friendly smile. “Welcome! Would you like to make a purchase?”
The two men were dumbfounded and unable to respond.
“This store has everything, including snacks, drinks, even steam pot ingredients. Take your pick!” Olivia said brightly, promoting her shop.
Meanwhile, the production crew watching the feed was equally stunned. “Is she allowed to do this?”
The survival game had been designed for contestants to strategize and possibly steal each other’s gold bars. But Olivia had taken a completely unexpected approach by setting up a marketplace.
The live stream audience was in stitches.
“Haha, Olivia is brilliant! Everyone doubting her should apologize now!”
“She’s not playing the same game. She’s way ahead of everyone else!”
“I thought not taking gold bars was a bad idea, but now it all makes sense!”
“The look on Shawn and Louis’s faces is priceless!”
No one had predicted that Olivia would pull off such a clever move.
Shawn and Louis, who had been so excited about eating steam pot, now felt completely deflated after seeing the price list.
“Would you like to order something?” Olivia asked with a teasing grin.
The two men hesitated, the price of 5 gold bars for a single steam pot meal feeling far too steep. They had worked so hard to protect their gold bars, and spending them on food felt like an enormous loss.
“No thanks, biscuits are fine,” Shawn mumbled, his eyes betraying his longing as he glanced at the bubbling pot of meatballs.
Louis quietly bit into his dry biscuit, his gaze fixed longingly on the steaming pot.
“That’s too bad,” Olivia said with an exaggerated sigh. “I guess I’ll have to eat it all by myself.” She scooped a bowl of steam pot, savoring each bite with visible enjoyment.
Shawn and Louis watched her intently, their mouths watering.

“There’s just too much food here for me to finish alone Olivia said with an overly dramatic sigh, staring at the full pot of food.
We’re happy to help! Shawn and Louis thought silently, but their eyes kept drifting to the price list. Wisely, they kept their mouths shut.
Olivia filled another bowl, and the two men’s eyes brightened with hope. Was she about to share?
Instead, Olivia turned to Harry, her visual jockey, and laced the bowl in front of him. “Carrying that camera all da must’ve been tough. Come join me.”
Harry hesitated. “I don’t have any gold bars.”
Olivia smiled. “You’re one of us. Don’t worry about that Besides, their visual jockeys are filming right now anyway.”
After a brief moment of hesitation, Harry gave in to the irresistible aroma and his growling stomach. Setting his camera aside, he sat down next to Olivia and started eating.
Shawn and Louis could only stare, their envy growing as Harry and Olivia enjoyed the steam pot, while their own dry biscuits seemed to lose any remaining appeal.
