Chapter 6
But the truth sent an instant chill down Benjamin’s spine.
The footage clearly showed Kim’s actions–deliberately tussling with Rachel. Before Rachel could shake her off, Kim grabbed Rachel’s hand and threw herself to the ground.
And Rachel… with her six–month pregnant belly, tumbled down several meters of stairs.
Benjamin’s face darkened, radiating icy fury as he ordered his secretary:
“Get Kim here.”
The moment Kim stepped into the villa, her smile froze.
Every screen in the house looped that surveillance footage.
Kim paled instantly: “Benjamin, what is this?”
Benjamin, eyes like a predator’s, choked Kim’s throat:
“Tell me what happens when I give this to the police?”
“Kim! Who gave you the right to push her down those stairs!”
“I gave you status, love, a child!”
“But I warned you Rachel is my bottom line!”
Kim thrashed wildly, her gentle facade shattering as she laughed hysterically:

“You think you’re some kind of good guy?”
“You gave away Rachel’s babies one after another!”
“You’re no man at all!”
Benjamin snapped, tightening his grip: “Shut up! Shut up!”
Finally, his hands dropped. Kim crumpled, coughing violently.
Benjamin grimly summoned his secretary:

“File for divorce now. Give this footage to the police, and the Hill family first let them see what kind of person their daughter really is.”
Kim’s eyes bulged, screaming hysterically:
“Benjamin! You bastard! You can’t do this!”
Her shrieks echoed as guards dragged her away.
Tears of regret streamed down Benjamin’s face. He truly repented now.
If Rachel returned, he’d pay any price to reclaim all ten children from his
ex–wives.
Kim wasn’t idle either, exposing Benjamin’s darkest secrets.
Then the Mitchell family stocks plummeted.
The secretary sighed, activating contingency plans:
“Only your godfather Willie in Washington can save us now…
Willie had no heirs, hence adopting Benjamin.

The Mitchells always assumed Willie’s help was guaranteed–after all, he
lacked an heir.

Benjamin looked haggard, unshaven with stubble on his chin. He nodded in silent agreement.
The Mitchells couldn’t fall yet. He’d wait for Rachel’s return, rebuild their family, make amends…
When I next saw Benjamin, I was walking in the park with my pregnant belly
Then I bumped into someone’s chest.
As I began apologizing, a scalding tear hit my hand.
I looked up, stunned.
It was Benjamin.
Gone was the elite heir–now with stubbled jaw and bloodshot eyes.
He stared fixedly at my belly, voice trembling with hesitant hope:
“This is our child, right?”
I smirked coldly inwardly, not wanting to engage further.
I turned to leave, but Benjamin yanked me fiercely into his embrace.
Benjamin’s voice trembled:
“How much longer will you keep hiding from me!
Rachel, I was wrong!
I truly know I was wrong, I’ve found all our children, all ten of them, every single one… Won’t you come home with me?”

I struggled desperately, whirled around, and slapped Benjamin hard across the face.
My teeth clenched, and hatred burned in my heart:
“Benjamin!
Have you no shame left?”
I stepped closer to him,

“Do you think finding the children means I’ll willingly forget the past and return?
When you snatched them from me time after time, when you made me endure losing a child again and again,
did you ever thought I’m their mother?”
Benjamin stood speechless, lips quivering.
Tears streamed down my face as emotion overwhelmed me:
“Night after night I clutched their tiny clothes, praying, begging the God not to take my children, offering my own life in exchange!
And you? What were you doing?
You were cuddling my missing children while playing lovey–dovey with your new wife!”
