chapter54.
Suitor?
Stella looked at Sandra with suspicion, wondering: When did Nathaniel become Sandra’s suitor?
Coincidentally, as Sandra waved goodbye, Nathaniel just finished his cigarette, got in his car, and drove away.
Sandra nonchalantly put down her hand, eliciting a wave of admiration from those around her.
“Sandra, who is he? He’s more handsome than any movie star I’ve ever seen, let alone your previous suitors! You’re amazing! Have you accepted him?”
This statement completely satisfied Sandra’s vanity. Her previous suitors, although they were somewhat wealthy, were all ugly in appearance and deluded themselves into thinking they could be with her. The more she thought about them, the more she felt unlucky.
But this man, he’s a total lady–killer.
He is tall and handsome, even his profile is impeccably perfect.
Just… Sandra didn’t know him at all.
She simply didn’t want everyone’s attention to be solely on

Stella.

However, she was the most beautiful here, she believed that this man was beckoning to her.
Sandra answered perfunctorily, “Alright, alright, don’t ask anymore, it’s a secret.”
She responded vaguely, allowing others to continually speculate.
Some people couldn’t stand it and retorted, “What secret? This man just drives a Volkswagen. No matter how handsome he is, he can’t compare to the boss of Dalla Technology Group. Sandra wouldn’t be interested in him!”
“True, those involved in technology always end up bald. Just imagine Sandra standing next to a bald man, that image must be hilarious,” someone mocked.
Sandra’s face gradually turned gloomy, she retorted, “The boss of Dalla Technology Group is not bald. I have a picture of his back on my Facebook.”
“Even if he’s not bald now, he will definitely be in the future. Besides, he can wear a wig even if he’s bald. Sandra, you better be careful. Don’t end up having dinner with him, and his wig falls into the plate.”
Stella and Christina couldn’t help but laugh when they thought of that scene.
Sandra glared at them, haughtily saying, “You all

misunderstood. My relationship with the boss of Dalla

Technology Group is purely professional. As for the handsome guy just now, he is actually…”
At the crucial moment, she hesitated to speak.
“What is he? Sandra, could he be the son of some CEO, kicked out of the house to experience life?”
“You’re quite good at guessing.” Sandra smiled slightly, but did. not explicitly confirm this guess.
Several people immediately looked on with longing.
“The life of the rich is indeed fascinating. Sandra, you’ve met a man who is both handsome and wealthy this time.”
“Alright. Let’s not talk anymore, we should get back to work quickly.”
Sandra saw everyone looking at her with envy as they used to, and she laughed, changing the subject.
As she passed by Stella and Christina, she couldn’t help but make a sarcastic remark.
“Stella, when looking for a husband, you should be more discerning. Oh, I forgot, my apologies, you’re already married, there’s no chance now.”
“Sandra!”

Christina stormed forward in anger, but almost tripped over her own feet. Thankfully, Stella was there to catch her.
At this moment, everyone noticed that Christina was wearing a pair of brand new red–bottomed high heels.
Sandra covered her mouth and chuckled, “Christina, you better not wear knock–offs, otherwise, your feet will easily stink.”
Christina said indignantly, “My shoes are real! I just bought.
them!”
Sandra feigned an apology, “I’m sorry, it seems your shoes are indeed real. Perhaps they just appear fake when you wear them.”
Others sneered with contempt.
“You…” Christina’s face turned red.
Stella immediately stepped in front of Christina, retorting, “Christina spending her own money on things she likes is not wrong.”
Sandra waved her hand, “Stella, don’t get us wrong. We mean no harm. We’re just worried that Christina might be deceived. We’ll head upstairs now.”
“Right, it seems like the elevator is full. You guys can take the

After speaking, Sandra and her group entered the elevator and

closed the door.

Christina stomped her foot hard, gritting her teeth and said, “One day, I will surpass Sandra!”
Hearing this, Stella frowned, looking down at Christina’s swollen foot, her heel already rubbed raw and bloody.
Christina’s feet, always clad in sneakers and never exposed to the sun, were quite pale. However, they were also rather wide, making them ill–suited for such stiff high–heeled shoes.
Moreover, the 4.7 inches heels almost made her walk on tiptoe, which accentuated her curves even more.
At this moment, her feet were so swollen that the flesh was bulging out, which actually didn’t look good. Moreover, she was wearing a floral dress, which looked strange no matter how you looked at it.
Stella sighed softly, taking out a band–aid and iodine swab from her bag and handing them to Christina.
“Your feet are all worn out, you should take care of them immediately.”
“Ouch…” Christina tiptoed, leaning on Stella’s shoulder, “Why are these shoes so hard to walk in? When I was on the subway, it felt like I was stepping on nails.”
“Christina, people who wear red–bottomed shoes don’t need to walk, let alone take the subway. You don’t need to force yourself

to fit into something that’s not for you,” Stella advised.

“Why should I? I’m sure I’m not used to it. If Sandra can leave, so can L. I’ll be fine with a band–aid.” Christina lowered her head.
to tend to her wound.
“Christina…”
“Alright, I understand, we’re running out of time, let’s hurry up.”
“Alright.”
Stella knew that Christina wasn’t listening, so it was useless to persuade her further.
After going upstairs, Stella had just sat down, not even having time to eat breakfast, when she saw Sandra coming out of Harley’s office. Immediately after, Harley followed out angrily, casting a displeased glance at Stella.
“Stella, come in.”
“Okay.”
Stella had just stepped into Harley’s office when she was startled
by an unexpected reprimand.
