When I got there. Blake was chilling in bed looking totally fine]
Seeing me, he lit up. Raven, you came.
I checked him out head to toe. Only saw this tiny bandage on his ankle smaller than a Band Aid.[]
“If I’d waited any longer, would this have healed already?“[]
Blake scratched his head sheepishly. “My bad. Raven. I totally blacked out and the medics just… they face unlocked my phone and called you. Didn’t even ask of anything
I put my hands on my hips. “Why not call Madison? She’s your girl now!“]]
I was pissed just ate a huge dinner, then raced over here and ran upstairs. Got a stitch in my side and everything.]

Blake’s smile faded, looking bitter as he explained:[]

I took a deep breath and kept my mouth shut.]
Heading out with my purse, I bumped into Madison rushing in.[]
She saw me and just smirked, but didn’t talk shit. Instead, she walked me to the hospital exit.
About to get in my car when she stood on the steps looking down at me:[]
“Raven, real talk. Is Blake… like, bad in bed?“[]

I pressed my lips together, studied her expression, then waved as I turned away.[]
“You’re the classy one, Good luck with all that.“]
I drove around the block then snuck back.[]
Getting dark, Madison came out, walked to the street, and got in that Maybach.]

Followed again.
Same routine–straight to those Malibu mansions.[]
She didn’t leave till way past midnight.[]
Now I was 100% sure Blake was getting cheated on.[]
Some weird impulse made me go back to the hospital.[]
Dude was knocked out cold.[]
I sat by his bed and started feeling him up.
The more I touched, the more his body heated up.
And Mr. Happy down there was very cooperatively saluting.
I felt relieved but even more confused.]]
Just as I’m pulling back to leave, my wrist got grabbed.[]
This low, rough voice came out of the darkness:[]
