Meanwhile, both Darren’s and Eunice’s companies were still trying to defend them. They posted dozens of Tweets to prove them innocent, but it was no use. The online community was thoroughly in over their
heads.
But of course, there were still a handful of diehard fans who still thought that Darren was the innocent victim all along. Their minds were twisted like the comments they left on the posts.
“So what if Alyssa’s a powerful woman? She still couldn’t keep her husband around! Justice for Darren Miles!”
“I feel sorry for Darren! He must be hurting a lot because of all these malicious comments! That Alyssa is just jealous of his fame and is purposely making life hard for him!”
“Someone check that bitch’s company to see if they’re the ones evading tax after all! I believe that Darren would do nothing of the sort. He’s a law–abiding citizen! I’m tagging the Central Tax Bureau here!”
“This is how scary a jealous woman is. Alyssa’s just jealous that Eunice is more famous than her!”
“I hate strong women like her! So what if she’s the CEO of Noblestar? She’s a disgusting woman!”
The online wars continued for at least another two more weeks. Then, the Central Tax Bureau posted a Tweet tagging both Darren and Eunice.
It read, “Thank you to everyone who reported this matter to us. We’ve conducted an investigation and concluded that there are major tax evasion issues with actor Darren Miles‘ and actress Eunice Gray’s
accounts.
“As such, we will be taking the necessary legal action against these two individuals according to law. Thank you once again for informing us of this.”
It was now carved in stone that both Darren and Eunice were found guilty of tax evasion. This was the final straw that saw the rest of their fans leaving the fandom altogether. In other words, both of their careers were over!
The companies they were under immediately ended their exclusive contracts with them. As for the rest of their brand deals and sponsorships, those were abruptly canceled as well.
After I was done dealing with this, I finally heaved a long sigh of relief. My family also started calling me up, one by one.
“Ally, you did a great job!”
“Alyssa, my daughter, you did so well! You’re the pride of the Vaughn family! As expected of your father’s daughter!”
Cindy also sent me plenty of voice messages. “Oh my god, Ally! You’re the best! I can’t believe you just did what you did! Hahaha! This is hilarious. That bastard deserved everything that happened to him!
“Oh, by the way, there are a bunch of newbie boy toys at Club Royalist tonight. Wanna come and join in the fun?

“You gotta find yourself a man who listens to you. If he doesn’t, then throw him in the trash!
“Hey, are you coming or not? Are you coming or not? If you don’t reply to me soon, I’m going to assume that you’re coming and come get you myself!”
I chuckled in amusement as I listened to the dozens of messages Cindy left me. Then, I replied to her at
once.
“In that case, please come and get me, Your Royal Highness. Let’s have some fun tonight!”
Cindy was right. There were plenty more fish in the sea I just had to find someone who would listen to me. If he didn’t, then I could just find another. As long as I switched them out quickly enough, I wouldn’t have to experience any heartbreak anymore!
