Chapter 131
When Kieran Junged forward, Freya braced herself and pushed against him with her arms.
Kieran winced in pain, and Freya took the opportunity to shove him away, immediately creating distance between them.
After regaining his composure, Kieran’s face darkened as he accused, “Freya! Did you hit me again?”
“Yeah, I slapped you!” Freya shot back defiantly, “Kieran, are you deal or something? I told you I’m done playing these games with you. Why are you still bothering me?”
By this point, Kieran’s expression was sour, but Freya pressed on, “And let me tell you, if it weren’t for you threatening me with the Dawson Group, I wouldn’t be wasting my time here with you. I don’t love you. So, back off!”
“Freya, don’t make me force your hand!” Kieran had intended to teach Freya a lesson, but still aching from the shove and seeing her defiant stance, he spat out coldly, “So, you say I’m using the Dawson Group to threaten you? Fine, consider it a threat. From now on, you Netter follow my orders or the Dawson Group will be doomed.”
With that, Kieran turned and loft Freya’s room.
Freya scrunched her face, confused by Kieran’s late–night drama. She wondered if maybe Kieran was just blowing off steam after a fight with Eloise.
So, Freya ignored Kieran’s threats and headed straight to school the following morning.
When Kieran got up, he found no breakfast prepared by Freya, which only fueled his anger.
“Who made breakfast today?” he demanded.
“The housekeeper, Mr. Sutton. Is there something wrong with it? I can make something else…” the housekeeper offered.
“Where’s Froya?”
“Ms. Dawson… Ms. Dawson left early for school, the housekeeper replied.
Knowing that Freya had gone to school sent Kieran over the edge. His grandma had warned her not to and she just ignored her. Did Freya have no respect for the Sutton family at all?
Just then, Jarrett entered the Sutton Mansion. Noticing Kieran’s grim expression, he hesitated before saying, “Mr. Sutton… there’s a meeting this morning…”
“Get someone to bring Freya back from school!” Kieran ordered.
“Again?” Jarrett was stunned.
They had just gotten started and they were already running back and forth to Summit University a bunch of times!
“Do it! Until Freya realizes she should be back here cooking!”
“And the meeting, Mr. Sutton?”
“Postpone it!”
Seeing the vein throbbing on Kieran’s forehead, Jarrett knew better than to argue and immediately arranged for someone to fetch Freya from Summit University.
Meanwhile, Freya had returned to school. Her recent actions had quickly turned her into the talk of the campus.
As soon as Freya stepped through the school gates, she became the center of attention.
Even Luna, following closely, felt uneasy under the scrutinizing eyes. She tugged at Freya’s sleeve, whispering. “Reya, why is everyone staring at you like that?”
It wasn’t just the students. Even the teachers were looking at Freya with curiosity and intrigue.
