Samuel: [I’m waiting for you downstairs.]
Feeling a little calmer, Isabella put away her phone and looked up at Luna and the others. “Luna, I need to head back.”
Luna paused what she was doing, looked over at Isabella, and said with a smile, “Sure, wait for me.”
Before Isabella could say no, Luna was already saying goodbye to her friends.

As Luna walked out of the private room, she saw the bar manager doing his rounds. Luna smiled and said, “Take care of my friends, and put it all on my tab.
The manager’s face beamed with a smile as he bowed and nodded. “Okay, Ms. White.”
Luna waved and left the bar with Isabella.
In the door to the bar, the noise of the bar faded away, leaving a sudden quiet.
Suddenly, Luna stopped in her tracks, and Isabella, confused, turned to look at Luna.
Luna no longer had a smile on her face, her eyes showing some apology. “Isabella, I’m sorry. I meant to surprise you today, but it turned into a burden.”
A gentle breeze blew by, filling Isabella’s heart with warmth.
Isabella knew Luna was talking about Jayden, and she walked over, hooked her arm around Luna’s, leaned on Luna’s shoulder with a light laugh. Isabella said, “What are you talking about? Apologizing for such a small matter?”

Luna’s gaze at Isabella was filled with concern. Luna had seen all of Isabella’s dedication to Jayden over the years.

As Luna spoke, she reached out to tickle Isabella.
Isabella laughed and dodged, the two girls playfully teasing each other under the streetlight. After a while, Isabella pleaded, “Alright, stop. I’ll tell you when the time is right, okay?”

Just then, a brief honk sounded from the roadside.

Isabella and Luna both turned to look.
The window of a luxurious Maybach slid down, revealing Samuel’s handsome face.
Isabella raised her eyebrows slightly and thought, Is he waiting for me?”
Isabella turned back to look at Luna, but before Isabella could say anything, Luna gave a knowing smile and nodded. “I understand. You two have fun I take my leave.”

Isabella couldn’t help but chuckle and shake her head, feeling helpless yet showing a light fondness in her eyes.
Seeing Luna get into her car, Isabella finally turned and walked towards Samuel’s car.
The moment Isabella opened the car door, Samuel’s expression suddenly darkened.
Unaware, Isabella fastened her seatbelt, but noticed Samuel hadn’t started the car, causing her to furrow her brows slightly.

Isabella finally put down her phone, got up, and walked to the study.
In the study, the lights were bright. Samuel was focused on his documents with a serious look. Isabella leaned against the doorframe and asked. “Aren’t you going to sleep yet?”
Samuel’s hand holding the document paused slightly. He said coolly, “You go sleep.” Then he continued with his work.
Isabella nodded slightly, feeling a bit angry inside. She said nothing and returned to her room.
Sitting on the bed with her phone in hand, Isabella couldn’t figure out what Samuel was upset about.

Two days later, the Cox family’s villa was bustling with servants to clean up. It felt much more lively than before.
When Isabella parked, she saw Xavier sitting in the garden enjoying the sun.
The cold on Xavier’s handsome face softened slightly when he saw Isabella arriving.
