Chapter 89
After hearing the subordinates‘ accounts, Perry couldn’t calm down for a long time. All he could say was that Mrs. Howerton was truly remarkable.
Excitedly, he wished he could have been there himself.
Samuel paused with the document in his hand. Leaning back in his chair, a rare smile appeared in his usually cold eyes.
The little fox finally got serious.
Samuel looked up, his eyes on Perry as he asked, “Is she hurt?”
Perry shook his head, grinning widely, and said, “No, Mrs. Howerton isn’t hurt, but she did break Hudson’s hand.”
Samuel thought, “That is incredibly satisfying
Samuel raised an eyebrow and said, “Buy everyone at the company some coffee today.”
Even the sun seemed to be shining a bit warmer today.
With a smile. Perry respectfully replied, “Okay, Mr. Howerton, I arrange it right away.”
Habella had been standing outside the villa of the Stout family for more than an hour.
As she stepped out of the villa of the Stout family, she looked at the house where she had lived since her childhood. Her feelings were a bit mixed.
Everything around was still familiar, yet it seemed like everything had changed.
At that moment, Isabella suddenly missed Terron and Yalene.
She wondered what they were doing now.
She hadn’t seen them for almost half a year.
With her lips tight, Isabella drove straight towards the Guzman residence.
On the left side of the villa of the Guzman family was a large garden filled with various plants, and the climbing roses were in full bloom now.
Underneath the trellis were a few brick–separated vegetable patches. At the moment, the tomatoes in the garden were bright red and looked so tempting that one would want to pick them and take a bite right away.
When Isabella walked into the yard, she saw Yalene Guzman and Terron Guzman bending over, picking vegetables in the garden.
Yalene wore a dark blue long–sleeved silk blouse, embroidered elegantly with blossoms, which looked vibrant as she moved.
Her somewhat gray hair was neatly pinned up at the back with a wooden hairpin, making her look very spirited.
She seemed to be arguing about something with Terron, giving him a displeased look and murmuring. “I’ll do it myself.” Terron just let her be, sitting on one side and watching her with a smile. “Alright, alright, do it yourself.
Even though he wore a simple white T–shirt, it emphasized his upright posture. His high, slender eyebrows were like an ink

painting matured over time and his eyes were deep and expressive.
Terron sat calmly in his chair, emanating an aura of peace and tranquility.
Isabella couldn’t help but smile and gently called out, “Terron and Yalene.”
Yalene looked at Terron with some confusion and asked, “I think I heard Bella’s voice
Terron looked up just in time to see Isabella walking through the gate carrying some items, his eyes filled with a kind smile. “Yes, Bella is here, at the gate.”
Yalene then slowly followed his gaze toward the doorway.
The instant she saw Isabella, her eyes lit up with joy. She set aside the vegetables she was holding and immediately stood up. exclaiming. “Oh, my sweetheart is back.”
By now, Isabella had already walked quickly up to them, placing the items in her hands on the stone table nearby.
With a smile, Isabella hugged Yalene, resting her chin on her shoulder, and affectionately said, “Grandma, I missed you so much.”
Recent events had left Isabella a bit tired, but at this moment, she felt that all her unhappiness was miles away.
Valene gently patted Isabella’s back but playfully chided, “Why don’t you visit me if you have missed me?”
She slightly stood up and looked Isabella up and down.
Then Yalene’s eyes showed a hint of sadness, and she sighed softly, “My sweetheart has lost weight.”
She pinched Isabella’s arm, noticing that they were skinny.
Isabella chuckled softly, her eyes curving with amusement. “No way, I feel like I’ve put on some weight recently.”
Knowing Yalene was worried, Isabella quickly changed the topic with a smile. She crouched down to pick a tomato from the vine. “Wow, Grandma, you’re amazing. This looks tasty.”
Isabella picked a tomato, rinsed it quickly in the nearby sink, and took a big bite.
Her eyes lit up instantly. “Mmm, it’s delicious,” she exclaimed.
Yalene couldn’t help but burst into laughter at her antics. “If you like eating them, pick some more to take home and enjoy.”
Isabella didn’t refuse and nodded with a smile.
Terron waved at Isabella with a smile and patted the seat next to him. “Bella, come sit with me.”
His gaze at Isabella was full of warmth.
Isabella obediently sat down beside Terron, while Yalene walked toward the garden with a smile. “I’ll pick some for you.”
She was worried Isabella might go back empty–handed.
Watching Yalene’s busy figure in the garden, Isabella felt much calmer and called out loudly, “Grandma, take it easy”
A hearty laugh from Yalene was her response.
In the past, Terron and Yalene always worried about her, asking if she was okay. During those times. Isabella always thought that family harmony went above all else.

She believed that some things would pass if she just put up with them, so she kept many things to herself, not willing to worry Terron and Yalene.
From now on, she would no longer be the Isabella who let everything go
That was how she could truly be worthy of Terron and Valene’s protection.
Terron kept his eyes on Isabella, a gentle smile on his lips, but a sharpness flashed in his eyes. He thought, ‘Has someone. been bullying her?
Isabella looked up with a light smile at Terron, shaking her head, and said, “I wouldn’t be in trouble. With Grandpa and Grandma around, no one dared to kill me.”
Terron laughed. You cheeky girl… Tell me, what have you been up to these past six months?” asked Terron
Isabella’s eyes sparkled. Tve been up to a lot,” replied she.
“Oh?” The elderly couple was clearly interested, and Grandma set aside what she was doing to sit down.
Isabella then shared a few stories that made them laugh out loud Before they realized it, an hour had passed, but it seemed like they had endless things to discuss.
Isabella casually asked while holding Terron’s arm, “By the way. Grandpa, how are the Stout family’s shares divided?” Only by understanding the distribution of the Stout family’s shares could she begin her preparations.
Besides, the Guzman Group had been supporting the Stout Group for years, so asking him was certainly the right choice. Terron paused, a little surprised, and asked. “What made you thank to ask about this?”
.
Terron thought, ‘Isabella had never been interested in these maters before; she had even refused to take over the Guzman Group when offered. But now, she was asking about it.”
Isabella sighed inwardly and thought her Grandpa was truly impressive.
Isabella thought, ‘What a keen observation my grandpa has!
Even Yalene glanced at Isabella, only to see her smiling and saying, “Growing up means taking on some responsibilities. I can’t just keep lazing around forever.”
Terron studied her for a moment before bursting into hearty laughter. “You’re truly my granddaughter.”
Isabella secretly let out a breath of relief; it seemed she had managed to get away with it.
What she said was indeed true.
Terron picked up the thermos from the stone table with a smile, took a sip, then continued, “Your father holds ten percent of the Stout Group shares; the other shareholders combined have twenty percent, and the rest belong to you.”
Isabella was a bit surprised as she didn’t expect to have all those shares.
Noting her expression, Terron chuckled softly. “Silly girl, the Statit Group was what your grandmother and I gave your mother. Now that she’s no longer alive, of course, it’s all yours.”
The mention of Isabella’s mother caused deep pain to flicker in erron’s eyes,
The tragedy of losing young loved ones was something they could never come to terms with during their lifetime.
Isabella reached out to hold Terron’s hand, looking at him with concern, and said, “Grandpa…”

She wanted to say something comforting but didn’t know what to say.
However, Terron gently patted Isabella’s hand, smiling with relie, and said, “It’s fine. It has been so many years. As long as you are happy, that’s all that matters”
