As Harper stood up and walked past Celine, she gave her a cold look and mocked, “Being pretty isn’t enough for acting. The role of the second lead is mine. Don’t get your hopes up if you don’t have the talent.”
Seeing Celine’s face pale slightly, she looked away disdainfully and headed straight for the audition room.
Everyone whispered among themselves, “There’s a chance Harper is getting in because of her connections, and it looks like she’s determined to get the part this time.”
“Even though her style is flashy, you can’t deny her acting skills are pretty good.”
“With her talent and the backing she’s got, she’s got all the advantages she needs. Isn’t it almost certain she’ll get the second. lead role?”

These words reached Celine’s ears, adding to her stress. She doubted she had a chance against someone like Harper
Celine knew deep down her chances were slim to none.
Her eyes darkened, and her body went rigid as she sat there.

One of them besitantly spoke up. “I heard Luna has a bad temper, so did someone in there mess up and make her angry?”
Everyone’s expressions suddenly changed.
Brenda squared up, quickly dropping her arms, and declared, “There’s no way. If Harper’s acting isn’t good enough, then who here even stands a chance?”
The room fell silent, with everyone knowing what she implied.
Though some wanted to flatter Harper, others were irritated by her arrogance. Immediately, someone retorted, “Not everyone can be that bad, right? I heard they really need to choose the second female lead soon, or Luna will be in trouble.”
They had already done their homework in the industry; this was a major production with substantial investments even before shooting began. Halting it would cause unimaginable losses.
Even if Luna doesn’t want to shoot, the company wouldn’t let itself lose money just like that.
Celine frowned, feeling a bit worried.
She had heard that Luna was extremely serious and responsible when filming, completely different from her usual self. She wondered if she could do this.

Soon, Celine pushed open the door and entered. The large room was quite spacious, with glass walls and railings that are 4pical of a dance studio.
At a long table directly opposite the entrance sat several judges, In the middle was Luna. She was still trying to calm down from her anger, breathing heavily as she rolled up the sleeves of her white shirt to cool off.
Beside her sat two men, one in a casual jacket, the assistant director Kerry James, and the other in a black suit, Patrick Hopper. Luna was collaborating with Henry’s company for this project, and Patrick was naturally one of his people.
Celine stood nervously in front of them. Upon seeing Celine enter, Luna smiled at her and said, “You’re here.”
Celine controlled her emotions, smiled at Luna, and nodded in response. “Yes.”
Kerry leaned back in his chair, sipping a cup of water. Their interaction surprised him, prompting him to glance sideways at Luna and ask, “Do you know her?”
Luna didn’t directly answer Kerry. Instead, she nodded toward Celine, gesturing as she asked, “What do you think of her face?”
Her face was absolutely stunning, perfectly fitting the image of the supporting actress Luna had in mind.
