As I am fighting two Wolves, I feel his eyes on me and then I hear a whimper. I see that June is in trouble and then I see Cole taking complete control. I am still amazed at the
sight of Cole, despite the fact that I
have seen him before.
I know he will help June to fight of those Wolves and I decide playtime is over. I jump up and turn midair to land on one of the Wolves back, my claws come out and I rip his head off.
The other Wolf startles and that is his downfall, because I take that as the opportunity to end him as well. It have a few seconds to breath and I use those to check for a message from Mason.
His message tells me we have seven minutes until the next wave. I alert the others through the link and I yell it our loud to the Warriors around me. Three of them step back, while the rest step in front of them and then I see their eyes glaze over.
We all get back in to position and await the next wave of Warriors to crash in to us. This group is bigger and apparently better trained, because it is more difficult to take them down.
But I manage to take down the Wolves that charge at me and Emma is having a field day. She pushes forward a little bit more, when another Wolf charges at me and this one is even tougher than the rest.
Suddenly I feel a pain in my shoulder. “Fuck, the idiot slashed us. Now I am pissed.” Emma growls in my head. And then she pushes forward as far as she can, without pushing me to the back.
We turn on our heels and face our enemy head on. He lunges at us, but just before he reaches us we step to the side and our claw slashes his neck wide open. His body hits the ground with a huge thud and his life is
over.

Wave after wave, the enemy hits us and they are stronger then the last wave. And with every wave it becomes harder to strike them down. During the third wave, we had our first casualty and I was relieved it was not one of mine. Dagmar teamed up with a Warrior during the third wave and they are dropping bodies as fast as they can. Cole and I are proud of her, she is fearless and she doesn’t back down during the fights.
Then I hear a mournful howl and soon more howls are heard, Alpha Nathan is gone. Part of me is not saddened by it, but the other part of me knows he gave everything he had.
Marcus had linked me during the second and third wave, letting me know that Alpha Nathan was a skilled fighter. It had surprised both of us and because of that I feel sad for the foss of a good warrior.
Then Dagmar links me that the fourth wave is coming and that that will be the last of it. It looks like Dagmar will be facing her nightmare soon and Cole and I are not happy about that.
We know she will not back down, she will face him head on and we will by her side. I alert my members to stay on their posts, I tell them to keep an eye out for Alpha Max, his Beta Geoff, and his Gamma Henry.
I tell them to make sure everyone knows I want them alive, because I want to make sure that Dagmar and I end their reign of terror. One by one they check in to let me know that everyone is informed of the order.

she can feel mine. We all get in to position and then the waiting begins.

We can hear them coming. Emma pushes forward again and our anger grows. Julian links us that the death toll on our end is eleven and many wounded. The death toll on the enemies side is almost one hundred percent and those that survived are wounded.
With that information in the back of my head, I prepare myself for the end of this assault, no matter what the outcome will be: “I love you.” I say to Maddox through our mind–link and it is Cole that responds “We love you. Babygirl. We have your back, no matter what

Emma pushes forward, giving me her strength and we are able to throw him off. We jump to wasting time, grabbing hold of his shoulder with our claw, and tossing him to the side.

I can hear him whimper, but I have no time to check on him. The next Wolf is on me already, lunging at me and I step aside just in time. Maddox is there to take care of him and I know he will be there every step. of the way.
Returning my attention to the tree–line, I see something that belongs to my nightmares. Bright green eyes, a devilish face and then he emergence from the forest.
Alpha Max is flanked by his Beta and Gamma, they are in their human form and behind them are many Wolves. I link my Pack–members, asking them how many of the enemy are in front of them.
And the answer shocks me because they all tell me the same thing: none. Maddox orders through the link that they need to leave the Packs in charge of guarding the borders and then they have to get to us as soon as possible.
A smirk appears on my face when I realize that Alpha Max does not recognize me. He is looking around and he starts to look angrier and angrier the more he looks around.
Emma and I decide to spice things up “Looking for something. Sir.” I ask sweetly and his head snaps towards me. A Wolf appears from the forest, he’s wounded and I know it is the Wolf that lunged at me earlier.
“You said she was here, but I don’t see her.” He growls at the Wolf. I can feel Maddox right behind me and I can feel the others approach. The Wolf shifts, once in his human form he points at me. “That is her, Alpha. I’m positive.” He states.
Alpha Max turns his head my way, I see a smile on his face. But the second he looks at me, his face falls and I know what the cause of that is. His eyes are glued to the mark on my neck and then he lets out a growl.
“You are mine. Who’s mark do you wear?” He yells. Maddox steps next to me and puts his hand on my lower back. No one has to tell Alpha Max that this is the man that marked me, because he can see my mark on Maddox’s neck.
