James

Alpha Jonas steps towards John and asks him why he is disobeying his Alpha.

John looks at him “I am not disobeying my Alpha. My Alpha ordered me to look after Alice and Maggie and that is what I will do. We can all see the dumbfounded look on his face, so I decide to clarify the situation to Alpha Jonas.

After I tell him that John left the Crescent Moon Pack and joined our Pack, he looks at Alpha Nathan “Is this true? Did he leave your Pack?” Alpha Nathan just neds his head.

One of the warriors gets up and says “Sorry, normally wouldn’t disagree with my Alpha, but seeing the fact that our lives depend on it I am going to follow whatever Dagmar tells me to do. I hope you can understand this, Alpha Adam.”

Alpha Adam looks at the Warrior and tells everyone to follow my orders, no matter which Pack they are from

– Alpha Nathan isn’t too happy with that, but Alpha Jonas backs Alpha Adam up and even the future Alpha’s

back him up. Alpha Nathan has no choice, he has to agree to this course of action.

After that we discuss all the options we have, we decide that the women are allowed to decide for themselves, fight, or shelter. All Pack–members are summoned to the Pack–house of the Black Moon Pack.

In big lines we sketch the situation and give the women the choices they have. Maggie and Alice tell me that they will take the children to the shelter and that they will be outside to protect them.

John will join them, so that makes me feel a bit better. Most of the women that participated in our training decide to stay and help in any way they can. The other women decide to follow the example Alice and Maggie had set.

Dagmar

We escort the ones that will stay in the shelters and I am not surprised to see Sienna join the women in the shelters. That the Alpha’s want their Mates in the shelters surprises me, because they are not fated and I doubt it is out of love.

Uncle James seems to understand my thoughts and he tells me through mind–link that he believes he knows the reason. It turns out I had missed a conversation between the Alpha’s and their sons.

The boys wanted to stay and fight, but the Alpha’s wanted them to go to the shelters. Looks like the boys have more balls then their fathers. “If those boys die, they will no longer have heirs. So they have to make sure their Mates survive.” I nod because that makes sense.

My phone buzzes and the caller–ID shows me it is Mason. “What.” I greet him and he starts talking right away. We both know that we have no time to waste.

We only have minutes left before the first groups will be here and I make sure everyone is alerted to the coming threat. Three Warriors are standing beside me had asked for a Warrior from each pack to make sure we would all be on the same page.

The larger groups still have hours ahead of them and we hope we can take care of these smaller groups

Chapter 125

We had spread the twelve Lycans along the outer border of the Pack’s territories and they were accompanied by Warriors.

Soon I am informed about the first wounded, but it looks like the deaths are only on our enemy’s side. The wounded that can get themselves to safety, do so and the ones that need help are handed off to the women that are our last line of defense.

All the Pack–Doctors are taking care of the wounded and once treated they are sent back out in to the fights. The Warriors and I are staying between the border and the Pack–house. We keep an eye out for any enciny Warriors that slipped through, but so far no one managed to get across the borders.

Maddox

After Dagmar warns us about their ETA, we get in to position. We don’t have to wait long before the first. wave of Warriors arrive and after that they keep coming.

From the corner of my eye I see Paul taking down one after the other and I am glad he is on my side. Fort every enemy Warrior he takes down, I take down two of three and little by little we gain control of the

situation.

Then I hear a familiar howl, so I link Julian to ask what happened. He tells me that Glenn got injured and that it looks bad. “Paul, can you oversee the situation here? I need to relief Julian, Glenn got injured,”

“Go, if I need help, I will let you know.” And in the meantime he takes down another enemy.

I let Julian know I am on my way and that he has to take Glenn to the Pack–Doctors. Getting to his position I see that most of the enemy warriors are taken care of

So all I have to do is keep control of the situation and our Warriors. They have given their all and I can see the fatigue on their faces. I tell them to team up to spare their strength and I join in the fight.

The stream of enemy Warriors lessens and it looks like we have defeated this first wave. I link Dagmar and tell her to contact Mason, I want to know what lies ahead of us.
