When Louis answered, his angry voice came through. “Why are you calling? Do you know you nearly got me killed?”
The moment he received the call from Perry, he thought he was going to be fired too. Fortunately, it was only Kevin who got
fired.
Kevin immediately apologized respectfully and asked, “I’m sorry, Mr. Yates. It’s my fault I’ve dragged you into this. Considering all the respect I’ve shown you before, can you at least tell me why I’m being fired just like that?”
