Alpha kanen
A few minutes to when Rose left the palace with the human wolf. Both my mind and NY heart weren’t at rest. I felt so dark inside that I thought everything I had in me was all gone and disappeared right in front of my eyes. I never anticipated seeing this day, The day Rose finally left me to another man. I felt really heartbroken and sad just when she left.
One of the guards approached and asked.
“Alpha…Give us your order. Should we follow them and track down the human–wolf?” The guard said.
I felt like a weak person because the one person who gave me strength was gone, She left me behind for someone else.
I looked at the guard with a weak gaze.
“I understand what you mean but…Just let her go for now. She decided to make hers alone. Let her do whatever she pleases.” I said as I gazed at Allison, Rebecca, and Ray who were still in shock at what happened.
I walked towards them slowly and bent down to console them.
“Alpha kanen…I can’t believe my eyes. Luna Rose is gone? We can’t let things be this way we have to go after her,” Allison said
in tears.
“I agree. Though that human wolf might have saved our life but I won’t accept the fact that he took Luna Rose away from us,” Ray said.
“What’s going to happen to us now?” Rebecca asked.
I could understand where they were all coming from and believe me when I say that I was the most worried person here. I tried to console them even though I needed consolation myself.
Joanna walked towards me and held my shoulders.
“We can’t stay here for too long Alpha Kanen. We have to go away from here, Any other thing might happen while we are here. We’ve finally rescued the maids.so we need to take them all and leave immediately,” She suggested.
I gently stood and nodded at Joanna, Then I ordered the guards to leave the maids so we could leave.
After that, We all matched our way to the palace, Guiding the maids while we left.
After a long journey, we finally reached the palace. I didn’t go anywhere else but I went straight to see my babies first to know how they were fairing.
Those two maids were still nursing them ever since we left.
I went inside the room and the two maids bowed to me.
“You’ve arrived Alpha,” one of them said as I nodded with a smil
“Yeah…I hope everything is going well, Nothing happened right? I asked
“No Alpha king, Everything has been okay since you left, The babies are perfectly healthy thanks to you.” One of them said as I smiled in relief and thanked them once again.
I walked towards the babies‘ crib and looked to see that the babies were still awake. I smiled as I stretched my hands and carried one of them up. The maids helped me carry the other in my left arm, while I held the other one on my right arm before the maids left the room.

The baby boy and my left arm kept staring at me with his cute eyes and then he smiled. I couldn’t help but smile too but then those smiles began to worry.
Tears rolled down my cheeks, I acted like someone who was fine but deep inside my heart I wasn’t fine.
“What are we going to do?” I said while staring at the baby in tears.

“Your mom has left us and it was her decision, But I felt so helpless without her. What am I going to do? I wasn’t read for this day to come,” I said talking to the baby, Thinking maybe he would give a response. But that wasn’t possible right. Suddenly, The baby’s mood changed as if he wanted to cry. I quickly walked around the room, Singing baby songs to them while I condoled them.
The babies must have felt my pain, The fact that they cried immediately they saw me crying really touched me.
While consoling them, The maids who left the room suddenly came in and took the babies from me to nurse them properly. After a while, the babies stopped crying and went to sleep. I felt relieved but at the same time, it was cute to see them react the way they did.
Just then, I left the room after the babies had gone to sleep. Leaving the maids behind to take things from here. Just as I was about to leave, Someone approached me. It was the maid who met with Rose, It was Sarah.
I was confused by the way she came back to approach face.

I’ve already had the worst news of the day that Rose left me for someone else. I didn’t want to hear any more problems that might disturb me.
“I’m sorry
but I can’t right now,” I said as I was about to leave but she ran after me and knelt down in tears, I was shocked.
“Please save Luna Rose!,” she exclaimed while kneeling down and begging.
I slowly turned to her in a confused state. The problem had something to do with Rose.
“What do you mean?” I said nervously.
“Please save Luna Rose. She’s in trouble if she stays with the human–wolf and it’s all my fault,”

She knelt on the ground, Crying and begging me to help Rose but I was lost in all this. How was Rose in trouble when she left willingly? I got confused but at the same time, I felt what she said was true. I bent down and helped her stand up. She was sobbing so hard and her face was all red. I tried to console her from crying and calm her down before she could speak about anything.
“Give me more details about what you just told me, Did you say that Rose was in trouble with the human–wolf? But I don’t understand, Why is she in trouble when she left him of her own free will,” I asked. My mind and heart couldn’t take the fact

that Rose betrayed me in some way.
After she had calmed down, She wiped her tears first as she shook her head and finally spoke.
“It’s not what you think Alpha kanen. Luna Rose didn’t go on her own free will but rather she was forced to go. Though I wouldn’t say she was forced, But she granted a request.” She said but I got more confused and replied.
“What?,” I said with a confused look on my face.
“What I meant was that …She sacrificed herself in my place,” She said almost in tears.
I widened my eyes in shock. I knew for a fact that Rose was the type of person who could sacrifice herself just to save the people she loved and I’m an example of that. But Sarah hasn’t been too close to Rose, So why would Rose sacrifice for a stranger too?
“I know what you must be thinking, Alpha Kanen. I know it’s weird that Luna Rose had to sacrifice for someone like me but She is the very first friend who had done such a thing for me,” She said in tears.
So basically Sarah was now her friend and now it seems they are closer than any other friend, in my suggestion.
“So how did it actually happen? What drove her to leave in your place and what exactly was she sacrificing herself for?” I asked but immediately I said that, Sarah looked at me, Shocked by my words. But then she composed herself and cried ever more than before. I wondered why she gave me that reaction and it felt weird as if I was forgetting something.
“Hey…what’s wrong? Did I say something wrong?,” I asked while trying to console her again.
She just kept crying non stop as if something was really wrong.
“I didn’t know things would turn out like this, I thought you’d figured out everything but you haven’t at all. Now I’m more afraid to open up to you about everything,” She said while sobbing.
“Open up to me like how?,” asked feeling reluctant.
She looked up at me in tears.
“Luna Rose and I got a bit close when I told her about my story. told her how I was friends

I now understood why Rose must’ve sacrificed herself to save her. It seems she’d already concluded that any friends of Allison, Rebecca, and Ray are also friends of hers.
I thought she was done talking but then she just had to calm herself before she could continue.
“I got kidnapped when I was little and my mother sacrificed herself to save me but my dad ignored every bit of what happened to both me and my mother. He cheated on her with another woman right before she died, I was furious and I wanted to take revenge on my mother by killing my father first. sought help from the human wolves, That was how everything fell apart till today,” She said.
But that got me curious, What was so important about seeking help from the human wolves? Though they were our enemies right then too. I noticed her reaction to the way she got scared about everything. It felt like she wanted to say something out but couldn’t.
“What’s wrong in seeking help from the human wolves,” I asked but then she got more scared by what I asked.
“I’m surprised you don’t know about Alpha. That is why it’s hard for me to say it to you. If it’s your first time hearing about it, you’ll be furious,” She said.
That even caught my attention the most and I was eager to know this time around, She took a deep breath and exhaled. She looked so scared I wondered what was so important that it made her so scared.

“The thing is…Anytime one asks for help from the human–wolf, it comes with a price. Either you go with him or he kills you right at the spot,” She said.
“What!!!” I said in shock.
She continued.
“I, on the other hand, Requested for the human wolf’s help but after he helped me I ran away from him. He has been searching for me for years now and then he finally found me. He met me when I was with Luna Rose and requested for my life. He tried to kill me right at that spot but Luna Rose stopped me and offered herself to him instead. That was how it actually happened,” She said while bowing down her head.
I was still in shock about the whole and also heartbroken.
“So literally you’re saying that…if Rose escapes, The human wolf will have to kill her too,” I said as she slowly nodded in tears. I sighed in pain.
How did things turn out this way?
Sarah knelt down before me and cried out.
“I’m so sorry about everything Alpha kanen… Please forgive me, I know you’ll blame me for everything that has happened to Rose but please understand that I tried to stop her but yet she didn’t listen to me. I’m sorry Alpha Kanen, if it means I have to quit my Job then I’ll gladly do it,” She said in tears.
There was no need to try to convince Rose of the decision she had already made. Once she sets her eyes on something then she’ll do it.
