– Unraveled Events –
Arya picked up the menu which was on the table right in front of her. Her eyes ran through the menu list, the dishes were high continental dishes, amounting to lots of millions of dollars Well, that did not bother her, because she is rich, and can afford whatever she wants.
Arya requested a simple dish, she needed something light, for she was a light eater.

“So. Both of them chorused, intending to ask each other some questions, but ended up saying it together.
Ladies first, Nathan said, gesturing with his hands towards her, giving room for Arya to air her question.
I wanted to ask how you got to know that am his ex–wife, but I just recalled that you are Nathan Haverstock, the man wi cold aura, and eagle eyes, who never let anything pass him, except it does not get his attention,” Arya blatantly said, cutting the stake on her plate, that had already been served by the waitress, with the cutleries she held in her both hands.
“Eagle’s eyes?” Nathan repeated, smiling in amusement at how Ayra had described him..
Yes that is what everyone says about you,” Arya corresponded, backing up what she had said initially
What about you? How do you see me?” Nathan asked, his voice seeking clarity, as he fixed his eyes on her.
“Quite the opposite mister Nathan, a bit persistent,” Arya replied, lifting her gaze off her plates, to meet Nathan staring at her
in amusement.
I would love to get to know you more Arya” his voice sounding honest and intentional at the moment.
“I am sure you already ran some background checks on me. So what more is there to know,” she said coldly, her unwavering gaze still on him
“The real you, not some documented information, I want to know the real you, I have this feeling there is something special about you,” Nathan said, trying to get hold of Arya’s hand which was placed on the table, but she suddenly withdrew her hand instantly.
“There is nothing to know about me,” Arya declared, with a hint of sadness that crept out of her voice, as she picked up her cutleries to continue her meal.
Suddenly, Luca walks into the restaurant towards his boss, with tension and anxiety laced on his face. The beautiful atmosphere between Nathan and Arya had to come to an end, when Luca informed Nathan that Mila had been rushed to the hospital.
In less than a few minutes, Nathan arrived at the hospital, where Mila was admitted. There he saw Mila’s class teacher pacing to and fro with anxiety writing all over her face.
“What happened to Mila?” the husky voice of Nathan was heard, getting the teacher out of her fearful trance, as she turned.
“I am so sorry Mister Nathan, but Mila ate a strawberry cake from her classmate, he had refused to give knowing she was allergic to it, but Mila forcefully ate it from his hand,” the school teacher explained, trying to clear the air, to deduce any bad thoughts from Mr. Nathan, that might lead to the school being blamed for it, or her losing her job.
The anger that hooved around Nathan’s face, suddenly disappeared, after hearing the teacher’s explanation. Nathan knew that Mila loved strawberry cakes, especially when it was a homemade one. But she was allergic to it.

He coaxed his daughter’s head, tucking off some strands of her hair that lingered on her face.

Arya stood by the side, watched how he looked, and coaxed the young little girl, who was a replica of him, with so much affection. All Arya could see at the moment was a loving father and a great man.
However, Arya was confused, as she tried to fathom why he would still come after her, while he was already married with at daughter. Or was he divorced? Which mother would leave such an adorable child?
So many questions ran through Arya’s head, staring intently at Nathan coaxing his daughter’s hair while being lost in thought.
Nathan, realizing that Arya was standing right behind him, turned towards her direction.
He knew so many questions were in her mind that needed to be answered. Nathan never intended to hide the fact hi child, but he never knew that an event like this would take place on the day that seemed opportune for him to take Arya
date.
He rose from the stool attempting to walk towards Arya, who stood still at the side of the door staring at him, his daughter’s little hands held firmly onto one of his fingers tightly.
Mila gradually opened her eyes, everything seemed dark to her. Gently, she opened up her eyes, to see her father’s affectionate look on her.
“Daddy Mila calls out, her voice soft, calm like a melody.
Mila turned to see Arya and a bright smile laced her lips, which made Arya smile back cheerfully.
