One of them tested the waters on purpose: “Our final year exams are almost over, and in a month or two, we’ll be on summer break. Kara, you won’t be able to stay in the dorm then. Are you planning to live with the Suttons, or would you like to stay at my place?”

The roommates giggled, letting their imaginations run wild.
Kara’s face turned beet red. The thought of something happening between her and Kieran made her feel like it’d all be worth it. But the realization that she hadn’t been invited to stay made her anxious.
