“I don’t care if it’s the student council or not. Mess with the wrong person, and you will pay the price!”
The principal was frantically looking for someone to take the fall, not caring who was in the student council. He knew he’d be the next one out of a job if they couldn’t sort out the mess with Kieran.
Rubbing his temples with frustration, Sampson said, “But, Principal, this news has leaked. We can’t make it disappear.”
“If you can’t make it disappear, consider this your resignation! Get on it, now!” The principal sent Sampson off to deal with Freya’s situation with a dismissive wave.
Though troubled, Sampson had his order and reluctantly left the principal’s office.
How could they retract something that had blown up this big? Did he have the magic touch?
A’s Sampson checked his phone to see the latest situation, he found all incriminating evidence scrubbed clean. Stunned, he wondered
he was even tasked with this if someone had it handled.
But then, as if on cue, every group chat buzzed with a high–definition, full video from the library’s security cameras, showing Jenny blatantly provoking Freya.
Besides that, detailed articles about Jenny’s family background and how she had abused her student council powers to bully her classmates over the years also started circulating. These articles were thorough, including testimonies from the students Jenny had bullied, backed by photos and even old surveillance footage.
Photos of Jenny’s tumultuous high school days, featuring various men, had also surfaced. The chat groups were buzzing with discussions about it.
Jenny’s face turned sour in the academic building as her dark past was exposed. “Who did this… Who is trying to screw me over?” That history was long behind her. Who could have unearthed it?
“Jenny, calm down…”
Before Eloise could finish, Jenny cut her off. “How can I stay calm? It has to be Freya’s doing! My hand wouldn’t get injured if it weren’t for messing with Freya. And now, on top of this serious injury, Freya avoids expulsion and airs my dirty laundry! That bitch, I won’t let her get away with this!”
Fury blazed in Jenny’s eyes. With graduation looming, she hadn’t expected this curveball.
“I’m going to confront her!” Fueled by rage, Jenny stood up and stormed out of the academic building without another word.
Eloise didn’t try to stop her. Given the situation, it seemed Jenny was on a fast track to expulsion anyway. She might as well do one last thing for Jenny.
“Where’s Freya? Where is she?” Jenny burst into Freya’s classroom, shouting at the top of her lungs.
