Chapter 4
“Do you need me to get down to escort you?” Adam asked.
Camille shook her head. “It’s alright, really. The bus is here.”
At that moment, the man behind the steering wheel lung up the phone. His eyet were as dark as the night sky on that rainy day. He only glanced at Carnille, but that glance sent a chill down Camille’s spine. His eyes were filled with impatience.
“Come on in. If not, you’ll be fired. Adam’s mouth curled into a fortatious smile.
Camille frowned and opened the car’s hack door. However, it was hard to keep her umbrella as it was full of water.
“Throw it away!” Adam leaned back, folded the unbrella, and aired it toward the dustbin nearest to them. With one throw, Camille’s umbrella landed in the bin.
Camille was lost for words.
Under the rain, the clean and spacious car drove so quietly it was very
Camille could not help but think of all the times she embarrassed herself in front of them. She thought about how she was insulted by Luke during the interview, how she was embarrassed by him in the lift lobby, and how she saw him almost naked in the afternoon.
She lowered her head and tried to catch her breath. She cupped her stiff cheeks with her hands, trying to calm down.
“What’s wrong? Are you feeling warm? Would you like me to turn on the air–conditioner?” Adam asked Camille
“No, it’s fine,” Camille hurriedly answered.
Adam smiled at her and then laid back in his seat. Looking at the stone–faced Luke driving, he said, “Luke, that woman your mom sought out for you has returned today, right?”
Camille was like an ostrich trying to wipe out her entire existence.
Then, Adam looked at Camille. “Send a plate of spaghetti to my office tomorrow. Make sure to tell the kitchen to add more ingredients!”
Camille nodded her head repetitively.
All of a sudden, the car made a turn. Camille’s head slammed on the car door with a loud bang.
After the rainy night came the clear sunny sky.
Camille was twenty minutes early for work. She went up to the rooftop to wash the previously dirtied uniform at the fountain.
Suddenly, she heard a loud splash.
The hotel wasn’t in the city area, so it was usually quiet in the mornings.
Subconsciously, she looked in the direction of the CEO’s pool which her colleagues had pointed out yesterday. She saw man diving into the swimming pool. In an instant, the water’s surface became peaceful again.
After drying her uniform, she sat down on the bench.
It was only 8 am Why would someone be swimming so early in the morning?

Chapter 4
Camille put down lier basket and ensured the tap was turned off before leaving the rooftop, Just as she was about to leave, her phone started ringing. She took a look at it before answering Estelle?”
Estelle was getting off the car. Carrying her bag, she walked into the entrance of the Leicester Hotel. “Camille, you know I wasn’t home yesterday, right? I was calling to ask if you are on your way to work.”
“No, I’m already at the restaurant, Camille leaned on the edge of the rooftop and said.
“That’s great. My phone was out of battery yesterday, I was worried you were looking for me. You’ll have to pick Allen up on Friday night. I have a date that day. That’s alll Fin hanging up!
Camille smiled. Estelle had a boyfriend!
She turned around and looked in the direction of the big swimming pool. She thought. “Why has the person who dove in yet to emerge? It’s been a few minutes! Furthermore, the lifeguards watching the swimming pools were not at work yet.”
Camille thought to herself, “No way! There shouldn’t have been an accident, right?”
There was an iron ladder that could be used to head downstairs to the pool. The swimming pool was so huge Camille could not see it at a glance. The clear water surface was peaceful, and the wind was causing slight ripples occasionally.
“Is there anyone down there?” Camille asked doubtfully.
“Excuse me, is there anyone in the water?” Still, there was no response.
Camille went around the pool’s corner and walked to the other side. Facing the water’s surface, she shouted, “Hello?”
Swash!
Suddenly, a man emerged from the water. It was… the CEO?
Luke shook off the water on his hair. His muscular chest was heating. Raising his head, his deep dark eyes shot right into Camille’s clear almond eyes.
He raised an eyebrow as he came onshore. Putting on his robe and tying a loose knot, he picked up his diamond watch. “Its not 8 am yet. You’re early”
“L…
“What are you doing here?” He clipped his watch on his wrist and picked up his coffee. Seeing that his coffee had turned cold, he put it down again and did not drink it.
Camille was still not intending to speak up.
“Speak!” Luke frowned slightly, staring at Camille’s lowered face
Camille raised her head and explained, “I saw someone entering the pool and was not coming out after a long time. I was afraid
A tiny droplet hung on Luke’s handsome face. With an indifferent voice, he instructed, “Bring a plate of spaghetti into my office in the afternoon. I want it made the same way Mr. Tate requested for.”
Camille was stunned. Spaghetti?
Looking up, she saw that Luke was already far gone.
The reporting time for work was 8.30 am. The employees of Leicester Hotel, aside from those required to stay in the hotel, were all rushing in through the entrance,

Chapter 4
Camille came out of the swimming pool area and immediately felt a large amount of attention on her
Every morning, the lift would be bustling with people from the human resource department gossiping
“Hey, did you see that girl that came out of the pool? That’s who I was referring to! The girl from the interview yesterday!”
“That’s her? She’s mediocrel Does the CEO actually have time to Interview a worker for the lowest position?”
“What was she doing? Why is she coming out from there?
“Shh! The CEO is coming!”
The lobby instantly became quiet. Luke was in a formal suit and leather shoes. His expression was indifferent as usual, and a blossomed–eye Adam Tate followed behind him.
Luke took a glance at his watch and stood before the lift. It was eerily quiet.
At the restaurant, it was usually busy in the morning.
Things get more relaxed in the afternoon.
“Camille, these two plates of spaghetti are ready!” Jenna pointed at the two lunch boxes while she busied with her matters.
Camille had just stepped out of the washroom. Her hands were still wet. She was so busy in the morning that she almost forgot to deliver the spaghetti to the CEO and Adam.
Placing the lunch boxes in the front basket of her bicycle, Camille set off toward the scary building.
After the previous incident, Camille knew which lift not to take. She went up to Adam’s office first. It was Adam’s beautiful secretary that took the lunch box from her.
Afterward, Camille set off to the highest level. Seeing the number displaying the floor level in the lift, she started to get
anxious.
The lift opened quickly, Camille did not see any secretaries around.
She had no choice but to muster up the courage to knock on the door of the CEO’s office.
In the office surrounded by black and white walls, a man sat casually, cross–legged, on a leather sofa.
A young woman was sitting beside him. She was wearing a deep v–neck and a mini skirt. Her plump breasts were purposefully revealed. Pouting her pink lips, she asked coquettishly. Luke, Mrs. Walter told me to come here to work with you. Why are you ignoring me?”
“Be quiet.” Luke was holding onto a contract, looking slightly annoyed
“Don’t be like that, Luke.” The woman threw herself at Luke, climbing her way up his body….
It was Camille’s first time at the highest level of the building. It was majestic. Just as she was about to knock on the door, it opened at the slightest touch. The door was not locked.
“Mr. Walter, here’s the spaghetti you… ordered.”
Witnessing the scandalous scene before her, Camille almost bit her tongue.
T… I’m sorry!” Camille’s face turned as red as a tomato as she stared awkwardly. She quickly retreated backward. Putting down the lunch box, she hurriedly closed the door and fled the dangerous scene.
“Get out!” Luke straightened his shirt.

“Luke…” Rachelle George’s slender hands continued to snake around Luke’s neck, coquettishly approaching his lips.
Luke stood up immediately and shook off Rachelle. Taking the contract back to his desk, he emotionlessly pressed on the intercom. “Human resource. Take Ms. George out to familiarise herself with her working environment.”
Stomping her feet, Rachelle left the office.
“Spaghetti?” Rachelle glared at the lunch box on the floor and suprted. She sashated over to the secretary’s desk. “Do the people from the restaurant not need to report before entering the CEO’s office? Do they have no manners? I want to complain to their manager!”
“Of course.” The secretary immediately stood up. Ms. George had just arrived, but the secretary could tell she was not to be offended.
Camille ran out of the building in a hurry. Panting, she swore to herself to avoid going there in the future.
