“Kieran, are you having me followed?” Freya couldn’t believe he would stoop to such tactics.

After saying that, Freya got the picture. It seemed the dean of Summit University was eager to curry favor with Kieran, looking to hit their annual performance targets.

Looking at Kieran’s smug face, Freya wished she could spit at him and curse him out as a ‘damn businessman. But she held back her anger, saying, “If you came here to waste my time with this nonsense, I suggest you leave and let me rest
After that, Freya turned and lay on her bed, showing she had finished the conversation.
Waiting at the door, Jarrett cautiously entered after a while and said to Kieran, “Mr. Sutton, it’s about time.*
Since noon, after Flavia had left, Mr. Sutton claimed he wasn’t interested in Freya’s affairs, yet he couldn’t resist coming over. He had a meeting scheduled for 4 PM, but there he was, wasting half an hour. If Audrey found it out, there would be hell to pay.

After the sound of the door closing, she finally opened her eyes and defiantly flipped the bird toward the door.
Outside, Jarrett followed Kieran, reporting, “Mr. Sutton, we’ve tried digging into this Susan from W Group, but there’s nothing on her It’s like she’s a ghost.”
Kieran frowned. “Nothing?”
“Nothing. I’ve used all our contacts abroad, and still, we’ve found no trace of Susan’s records. It indicates she’s no ordinary person.*
“Keep looking.”
“That might be difficult,” Jarrett hesitated, adding, “Perhaps we should consider arranging a private meeting with this Susan?”
