Natalie really loved diving, especially when she was feeling down If Harley were home, he would definitely take her diving, catch some grouper to cook for her, and even grab a few crabs to whip up spicy crab.
“This summer, I’ll take you diving. When the spider conch is in season, I’ll take you to catch them. I love eating them so much,” Natalie agreed.
Chris grinned so widely he could barely contain himself, almost jumping with joy. “That’s great, Natalie. You have to make time to go with me.”
Natalie thought for a moment. “We can go on weekends. The seawater isn’t too cold now.”
“How about next week?” Chris suggested eagerly, hoping they could go as soon as possible, as winter was coming and it would be cold soon.
Natalie shook her head. ‘He can barely swim. There’s no way he could dive. It’s too risky,’ she thought.
She chuckled and teased Chris, spend your weekends at the swimming pool to polish your swimming skills first. I’ll take you diving later.
“Next year,
I’ll take you to the island where I used to live. I know the area well and what seafood is available in each season.”
Chris was upset, thinking they probably wouldn’t be able to go this year. He promised, “Natalie, I’ll definitely practice swimming hard. Wait for me.”
Natalie smiled and told him to go inside to keep his cousin company, as his cousin was recovering well.
After finishing up her work, Natalie left the hospital.
Jacob followed Natalie the whole way, watching her make all the arrangements before she left the hospital and got into a car on the side of the road. Her ethereal voice still lingered in his mind.
He had never met such a beautiful and kind–hearted girl. Every move she made fascinated him. It wasn’t until Natalie’s car had been gone for a while and he felt the cold wind that he turned to head back.
After walking a few steps, his phone buzzed. He looked down and saw a transfer from Natalie.
Natalie: [Jacob, don’t go to work for now. Take good care of your grandma and focus on your studies.]
Jacob’s face lit up with a brilliant smile. His fingers trembled as he replied: [Okay! I’ll study hard.]
Natalie returned home, took a shower, and lay comfortably on her bed. She called Murray, and to her surprise, he answered. “Natalie, I was just about to call you. Have you found Luna? I just got out of the police station,” Murray said.
Natalie replied, “I’ve already found Luna. I’m glad you’re okay.”
“Haha! Natalie, you wouldn’t believe it! Jennifer accused me of attempting to assault her, but when my grandma showed up with video evidence clearing my name, her face turned livid.” Murray laughed heartily.
Murray continued, Colin was shaking with anger. That old man probably never expected evidence to be left behind when Luna was taken by his people.”
“I didn’t have my phone with me at the time, otherwise, I would have definitely recorded a video for you.” Murray’s voice was full of amusement.
Natalie felt like Murray shouldn’t drop his guard. “Murray, this time you got lucky. Next time, they’ll have an even bigger

“Alright, stay safe,” Natalie said before hanging up. She quickly fell asleep, as she was very exhausted,
Jennifer didn’t return to the Simpson residence. Ever since her grandparents moved in, the house had been filled with her grandmother’s nagging. Frustrated, she went to the apartment–Easton had bought for her.
After entering, she kicked off her high heels, trembling with anger.
Oliver followed behind her. Watching her seethe with anger, his eyes were filled with malice as he whispered, “Ms. Simpson, Murray has escaped these traps because of Natalie’s help. Next time, we’ll choose a place where Natalie isn’t around and see who can save him.”
Jennifer threw her bag onto the couch. Her face was so dark and malicious that it was intimidating.
Jennifer was confused. “When Natalie was found, she was indeed in an impoverished town. What exactly is her relationship
with that old man? She seems so different now, and that Luna by her side seems quite capable.
“The family that adopted her doesn’t seem ordinary.”
Oliver furrowed his brows and shook his head. “Ms. Simpson, I’ve already looked into that old man. He’s just an ordinary person with no real power, and he doesn’t own any companies.”

At the company, Easton sat in his brightly lit office. He glanced at the calls from Jennifer but didn’t answer any of them.
At that moment, Xavier walked in and said, “Mr. Garcia, Murray has been released, and Ms. Simpson has left the police station. The waiter who spiked the drink at the banquet has been caught.
“His reason was that Murray was arrogant and had bullied him before, so he felt humiliated and decided to drug him. They’ve all returned.”
Hearing this, Easton’s face turned cold, his lips moved slightly. “Look into the relationship between Jennifer and Colin.”
Xavier’s expression grew serious. After years of navigating the business world, he could see Colin’s intentions clearly. “Mr. Garcia, I suspect Colin and Ms. Simpson are trying to take down the Spencer family.”
